Our doors have reopened! We are delighted to confirm that we have fully reopened for indoor and outdoor dining and drinks. Thank you for the continued support and we look forward to seeing you.

Please note; the rule of two households or 6 people applies, table service only applies during this time too so we are not able to serve you at the bar – plus we will also have outside tables that will be free for walk ins.

Situated in the heart of Ramsbottom stands the Grey Mare; a traditional pub offering quality Cask ales and a warm welcome to all. We have something to suite everyone’s taste – whether it’s relaxing with a quiet pint, enjoying a game of pool or darts with friends or enjoying our live entertainment. In fact we’re well known for our live music on a Friday night when we have everything from rock to reggae and our vocal artists on a Sunday night showcasing songs old and new from country to folk.

Sport is also a key factor at our pub. We have 2 ladies darts teams, 2 men’s darts teams and a pool team, so you can be sure there’s always something going on! We pride ourselves on being a traditional pub and work hard to ensure that everyone from locals to tourists feel welcome at our popular Ramsbottom pub. We look forward to seeing you soon.
